Baptism (Christening)

'"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of the age." [Matthew 28:16-20]

These are the last words of Jesus before his return to the Father in the Gospel of Matthew. He tells us to baptize people in the name of the Trinity.

In baptism (also known as a Christening) we are united with Christ and incorporated into his mystical body the Church, washed of sin and given grace to become saints.

If you are looking to get baptised, or to baptise your child, we would be delighted to help you. To speed things up you should fill in this application form, but you can also do this after a conversation with the Parish Priest.
